Queen of silks

This isn't onto same theme as my usual posts, but I am an avid reader of historical novels, and the Queen of Silks left a big impression on me. It's about a young woman in the 1480's who is widowed at the age of fourteen, and together with her mother in law she builds a silk trade in the heart of the London selds. She becomes entwined in the royal court, and falls in love with a man who isn't hers to have. This book is a fabulous work of fiction, and the author Vanora Bennett tells the story to perfection.
